Lions Sign McLeod
Jan 15th

League One side Millwall have finally solved their striking-crisis by bringing in Charlton player Izale McLeod.
The forward, who has failed to impress since arriving from MK Dons for £1.1m in 2007, will join the Lions side until the end of the season.
The former Derby, Colchester and MK Dons star, scored an impressive 60 times in 120 games before making his move down to South London side Charlton Athletic.
The deal could end speculation regarding onloan striker Tresor Kandol’s future following discussions between his parent club Leeds United and Kenny Jackett.
I’m sure all Lions fans will welcome the signing of McLeod, who I believe is the type of player we’ve needed to partner Gary Alexander for a long time.
Little Rejects Leeds
Jan 12th
Former Tranmere manager Brain Little has rejected the chance to join Leed’s coaching staff as he didn’t want to move his family to Yorkshire.
Little told BBC Five Live – “Simon has spoken to me, but having a young family means the location and the travelling involved isn’t ideal for me.
“I’d have loved to work with Simon Grayson and I think he has the potential to become a great manager.
“I have a young family in the midlands so I think it suits me to be around there at the moment.
“Simon and I have spoken on and off for years and years now and I wish him every success.
“But at the moment with the location of Leeds and my location, it would involve a 240-mile round trip every day, which just isn’t ideal.”
Mk Dons v Colchester – Live
Jan 12th
Venue – Stadium MK
Date – Monday 12th Jan, 7.45pm.
Miguel Angel Llera will return to the MK Dons side but Luke Chadwick remains sidelined due to injury whilst Colchester left back Marc Tierney is suspended.
Colchester United manager Paul Lambert told BBC Essex – “MK Dons are the team to beat at the moment, but we are certainly going up there with a lot of confidence of late and we’ll try to win it.
“This is going to be a really big game, but honestly if you don’t want to play in that stadium then there’s something wrong, so we’ll be ready for it.”

Trundle Signs for Leeds
Jan 9th
Former Swansea man Lee Trundle has completed a one month loan deal to League One side Leeds United from Bristol City.
The Scouser has scored only twice for Bristol City after completing a £1million move to the Championship Side in 2007.
Simon Grayson told the club’s website – “Lee is a proven goal scorer.”
“He brings something a bit different, and he has a great track record. It’s good competition for places and he is a good acquisition to the squad.”
Carlisle Complete Double Swoop
Jan 9th
Carlisle United have completed the signing of duo Joe Anyinsah and Graham Kavanagh who will join as a player/coach from Sunderland.
Anyinsah has already enjoyed a succesful loan spell at Carlisle and manager Greg Abbott was delighted to wrap up a deal – “He brings pace and power and bit of creativity, and he can chip in with the odd goal or two.
“We saw last time just how much of an impact he can have on a game when he is on the top of his form and we’ll be looking for more of the same again.
“He’s an exciting player and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Millwall Still Confident of Deal
Jan 8th
Millwall are still confident that they can come to an agreement to sign QPR midfielder Adam Bolder after a successful loan period.
Millwall’s assistant manager Joe Gallen told the media – “We’d like to sign Adam but QPR said they wanted him to go back.
“That’s their prerogative as he is their player, but we definitely want Adam to come here. He did really well for us when he was on loan.”
“At the moment it’s a case of waiting to see what QPR want to do.
“Hopefully there will be more discussions and Adam can come to us.”
