Milan Hopeful Of Beckham Deal

AC Milan are hopeful of extending David Beckham’s original two month loan from American side LA Galaxy after impressing their coaching staff during training and on his debut against Roma.
technical director Leonardo told the BBC – “It was a fantastic match for David and he gave us a lot. We are very happy with him. “We have an agreement that he will stay for two months but everything is possible. We will see.
“We thought perhaps he could play for 45 or 60 minutes, but he played the whole match in a very important way.
“When he finished, he was still very fit – his condition was perfect. The preparation he did during our trip to Dubai earlier this month was very important.
“It gave him time for conditioning training and we were able to test and assess him. His fitness is very, very good.
“To play against Roma in his first match was very tough but he ran, fought and defended.”
Toure Wants To Stay

Yaya Toure’s agent has insisted his star is happy currently at Barcelona and has not been approached by Manchester City about a possible move to Eastlands.
Manchester City were believed to be preparing a £13m bid for the midfielder who has also been linked to his Brother’s team, Arsenal.
His agent Seluk told Catalan radio station RKB – “Toure is happy at Barca, currently the best team in Europe and he has no intention of moving.
“He is one of the best in the world in his position and it’s normal that some clubs are interested in him.
“Manchester City have ambition and money but they have not spoken with me, they need to do it with Barca.”
