Chester City Deserved More Against Bournemouth

Chester City Manager Mark Wright felt his team didn’t deserve to lose 1-0 to Bournemouth at the weekend and were unlucky not to leave with atleast a point.

He told BBC Merseyside -”I don’t think we deserved to come away with nothing. We deserved a draw.

“The sending off was the biggest turning point of the game.”

Wright believes his side are suffering from a lack of fire-power and says he is keen to enter the transfer market in January.

“We have lots of players in our heads but Stephen Vaughan has put the club up for sale.

“If someone comes in then obviously he’ll sell and then we have to regroup and see what happens.

“One thing’s for sure, I think we need a couple of strikers that can change a game and make things happen for us.”
