Marseille president Pape Diouf has dismissed claims that Arsenal are closing in on midfielder Lorik Cana claiming the Premier League side have not been in contact.
The 25 year old had previously been linked with Everton but this morning’s press now suggests that Wenger is hot on the trail to sign the Albanian International.
However Diouf told La Provence - “It’s a pipe dream, Arsene Wenger has my number.
“He has not called and, if he does, how much? I would I begin with a two and this would be followed by a high figure.”
