Andy Johnson is on his way to Fulham to undergo a medical after the two clubs agreed a fee for the England international.
Everton last week denied Fulham had made a bid but we reported that the Liverpool Echo was tipped off by the club as to Johnson’s future.
The fee is believed to be £11.7million and would see Johnson return to Fulham after his family were originally unsettled in Merseyside.
Johnson was left out of Everton’s previous two friendlys and then was left out of their team that travelled to USA for a team bonding break.
The striker told supporters in a pre-season game against Sion that he had no intention of leaving the club, and this statement was echoed by manager David Moyes, so who exactly is pushing him out of the club?
